Diet Day Has Arrived!
Diet day has arrived. This is the day you start eating healthy and watching your calories. Today is the day you permanently change the way you eat. When it comes to dieting there are very few diets that work. Thereare however, many lifestyle changes that, when practicedconsistently and aggressively, will work. The thing to remember isthat you are the one who must work because it is quite unlikely that any type of strict dieting will help you achieve the long term results you desire. If today's diet day beginning makes you feel apprehensive, you're not alone. Many people dread beginning a diet. They may have chosen a weight loss plan that tells you not to eat what you love to eat, and gives you meals you are never going to enjoy. It doesn't need to be that way. You can still eat basically everything you eat now, just in moderation. You eat a huge helping of mashed potatoes with your meals? Cut the portion and do not take seconds. Don't eat them everyday but don't eliminate them. I know if you told me I could not eat potatoes anymore, I would be telling you to take a giant leap. Eating healthy can also involve watching the foods that you eat, not necessarily how much food you eat. You may want to restrict the amount of foods that you eat, as I just mentioned, when you're on a diet, but you also want to focus on the foods that you do eat. For instance, if you were to eat fruit instead of chips, you could have more fruit snacks with your meals than you would be able to if you were just to eat junk food. OK, It's diet day.
