Crock pot Recipes will make your life much easier and your family will love the meals you create. In the morning, put the recipe ingredients in the slow cooker and head to work. When you get home, your meal is ready. Cheap cut meats can be used and will be very tender. One tip - I like to brown my neat before I put it in the crock pot. All Day Crock pot Recipe Delight 2-3 lbs. boneless chuck, cut into 1 inch cubes 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. butter 1 onion, sliced 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 clove garlic, minced 2 c. beer 1/4 c. flourCoat beef cubes with the 1/2 cup flour. Brown in melted butter. Drain off excessfat. Combine browned meat with onion, salt, pepper, garlic and beer.Cover and cook on low 5-7 hours (all day) until meat is tender. Turn control tohigh. Dissolve remaining 1/4 cup flour in small amount of water. Stir into meatmixture, cook on high 30-40 minutes. Serve with rice and salad. Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs 6 chicken thighs (remove skin) 1 can Italian-style diced tomatoes (28 oz) salt and pepper Cook on high for about 3 hours. Serve with eggnoodles. All Day PorkchopsYield: 4 servings 4 Loin pork chops -- lean 2 md Onions -- sliced 1 ts Butter Salt & Pepper -- to taste Spices of your choiceStand chops up, thin side down. Stir once. Cover and cook on Low 10-12 hours. (High 5-6 hours). NOTES : Serve with shredded cheddar cheese and tortilla chips. ALL DAY MACARONI AND CHEESE8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and drained 4 cups(16 ounces) shredded sharp Chedder Cheese 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk 1 1/2 cups milk 2 eggs 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepperPlace the cooked macaroni in crock pot that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Add the remaining ingredents, except for 1 cup of the cheese, mix well. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of cheese and then cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours or until the mixture is firm and golden around the edges. Cook covered on LOW for 4to 5 hours or until chicken is done. Lift chicken out of pot; remove meat from bones. Return chicken meat to pot.Add tomatoes, beans, corn, salt, seasoned salt, sugar and pepper. Cover and Cook on HIGH 1 hour. CHICKEN OR TURKEY PIE 3 cups diced cooked chicken or turkey 2 cans (14 1/2 ounce each) chicken broth 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced 1 medium onion, chopped 1 bay leaf 3 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 package frozen mixed veggies (16 oz) 1 cup milk 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 9-inch refrigerated pie crust In the Crock Pot, combine chicken, broth, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, celery, onion, bay leaf, potatoes, and mixed vegetables. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 4 to 6 hours. Remove bay leaf. Pre heat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl, mix milk and flour. Gradually stir flour and water mixture into Crock Pot. Stir in pepper, poultry seasoning, and salt/ Remove the liner from the crock pot base and carefully place 9-inch pie crust over the mixture. Place the crockery liner inside preheated oven and bake (uncovered) for about 15 minutes, or until browned. If your liner is not removable, put the mixture in a casserole dish, cover with the pie crust and bake as above.
