Mouth Watering Beef Stew Recipe
Beef Stew Recipe with Tomato Sauce This could be on the slow cooker page but I decided to put it out here so you could find it. IngredientsStew meat - can be chopped sirloin, cut roast, steak4 - 5 Potatoes2 large Carrots2 celery sticks1 can Peas - drain juice1 can tomato sauce3 cans watergarlic powder to tasteonion powder to tastesalt and pepper Put the ingredients, minus peas and potatoes, in the crock pot. I like to cook it slow for 6 - 8 hours. I don't like to put the potatoes or peas in right away as they tend to get too soggy. About an hour before the stew is ready, pour in the peas and mix them well. Then seperately boil the potatoes to your liking. Drain and add them to the stew. They should be in the stew at least a half hour to absorb the juices and get that beef stew taste in them. Sliced buttered french bread goes great with this meal. The tomato sauce adds a unique flavor and blends in well with the stew meat juices. This is a beef stew recipe you are going to really enjoy, especially on a fall or winter evening. Use the Pressure Cooker If you forget to put the ingredients in the slow cooker, not a problem. Use the pressure cooker. In fact I recommend doing so at least once so you can taste this beef stew. The flavors become absorbed in the potatoes and carrots and the taste is outstanding. Have you ever had beef stew the day after? You know that special taste the potatoes get? You get the same taste using the pressure cooker - in about 40 minutes.
